This is a drypoint etching by French artist Louis Legrand. The title is : English Bar, from his Album Les Bars, published by Pellet in Paris in 1909. This impression is from the first state of three with the Remarque of a Woman in Profile. The image measures 9 3/4X5 5/8 inches. Hand signed in pencil, printed on a Japon type paper. Numbered as 1/30.
Original Japanese woodblock print by Utagawa Hiroshige (Hiroshige II), from his series "One Hundred Famous Views in the Various Provinces (Shokoku meisho hyakkei)", circa 1860. This vertical oban is signed Hiroshige ga. Published by Uoya Eikishi. Beautiful color and condition. Never framed. A rare print from a series partially based on Hiroshige I's series (Famous Views of the 60-odd Provinces). This particular view by his protege is not based on a Hiroshige I work.
Limited edition Japanese silkscreen over metal leaf by Kazutoshi Sugiura (b. 1938) depicting an ikebana arrangement titled "Iris No. 48" dated 1985. Pencil-signed, dated '85, titled in kanji, and numbered 32/100 in the bottom margin. Paper: 20” x 12 1/2" (image: 17” x 9 3/8”). Excellent original condition.

This is an original hand-colored, 19th century lithograph print by the iconic American ornithologist and naturalist artist JOHN J. AUDUBON (1785-1851), from the nineteenth century series in the small octavo size. Inside the present mat, dimensions are 9 1/4" by 6" inside the innermost mat (16 1/2" by 13" as framed). The title is "Cliff Swallow" and this is Plate number 47 in a long series of bird prints in the small octavo size...
Original lithograph by Ira Moskowitz (USA, born in Poland, 1912-2001). Pencil signed by the artist l.r. and titled "Hogan Interior (Navajo)" l.l. 12 1/2" by 16 1/8" image alone. Also signed and dated 1945 in the plate. From an edition of 30.
In 1943 Moskowitz was the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and moved to New Mexico where he lived and worked for 7 years. He became a member of the Taos-Santa Fe group of artists. This lithograph was produced during that period.
William Lionel Wyllie, British, 1851-1931, "Sugar Boats off Greenwich". This lovely atmospheric image by William Wyllie measures 4 7/8 x 12 7/8 inches, pencil signed on the l.l. and created c. 1920. This is a view of Greenich from the Isle of Dogs with a view of the Royal Navel Academy on the left with the domes of the Royal Observatory high in the background. Wyllie was a well known marine painter and printmaker, studying at the Heatherley School of Fine Art and then at the at the Royal Academy...

This is a fine original lithograph on Chine applique by American artist Yasuo Kuniyoshi. The title Before the Act, was created and printed in 1932 in an edition of only 40. Pencil signed and dated, printed by Grant Arnold, Woodstock. The image measrues 13 1/4X9 3/4 inches. Very fine condition. This image appears in the Davis catalog as image number 54.

This is a very cool lithograph on zinc, image size 12 5/8 x 17 7/8 inches, 1919-1920, from a very small edition of 27 or fewer impressions, cat: Czestochowski-134, printed by Bolton Brown, pencil signed. Provenance: The Cleveland Museum of Art. Davies was a truly remarkable artist of the late 19th and early 20th centuries known for his dreamlike etchings and lithographs...

This is an image of a young African-American boy grinning while leaning against a building, the image mounted on a board signed by the photographer, Arthur S. Little. After googling the name I find that around the late 'teens and early twenties, there was a photographer in Los Angeles and Ventura by that name, though he does not seem to have had a high profile. I do not believe that this is an original photograph. The item is in good condition...
An example of the scarce "sur blanc" lithograph prints of famed French caricaturist and satirist artist HONORE DAUMIER (1808-1879), the 1851 print from the "Actualites" series, and Le Charivari. It is beautifully hand colored, with gum arabic highlights in the dark areas of the central figure's robe. Not examined out of the frame, it appears very clean and fresh (happy to examine out of frame upon request)...
