An interesting and inventive sculpture of a performing elephant balancing upon a ball whilst supporting an acrobat with his trunk. The sculpture is solid bronze and cast in the lost wax technique, cire perdue. This method is able to faithfully reproduce all of the quirky textures that the artist has chosen. The sculpture is mounted on a white marble base and is, as far as I can see, unsigned.

The body is composed of two phoenixes, the heads of the birds naturally forming the handles. The stone is very hard, green speckled with translucent white. The cover is also formed of 2 birds, it is not pierced so it is possible that it is not a censer, although it can be used without a cover. It is placed on a finely carved hardwood base. There are some numbers stamped inside, probably so as not to mix up the bases. China 20th century around the 70s. Good condition...

An early twentieth century bronze bust of President Abraham Lincoln, in a modernist or brutalist style. This piece was most likely a unique cast and is mounted on its’ original wood pedestal. The bust measuring h;19”,w; 11”,d; 14”. With the pedestal, the sculpture measures approximately 69”. Magnificent patina and a spectacular piece that was showcased in an exhibit that traveled the many sojourns of the late president….
Eye-catching patinated bronze swan statue on a black marble base.. This curvilinear design is reminiscent of the Art Deco period. The edges of the marble base are beveled and the corners are rounded; it all feels very smooth. Unsigned, there was green felt on the bottom that was removed, but enough remains that it will protect a wood surface from scratching. In excellent condition, it measures 16.12ʺ long × 4.12ʺ deep × 11.75ʺ high.
