Designed by Tom Ford for the Fall 2003 collection, this clear lucite cuff is awash with brilliant, round rhinestones. In perfect condition, it is 6" (15.5 cm) long with a 1 1/8"(3 cm) opening. The interior diameter is 2 5/8" (7.5 cm). It is stamped YSL on one edge and Made in Italy on the other. I don't know if the Rive Gauche box is original to the piece, but this is how we got it (along with a felt sleeper bag), so we will be happy to include them both...

The scene depicted is most likely something from the Jataka Tales (the stories of the previous lives of the Buddha), though we are not positive which exact scene is being portrayed...

Urushi bowl made by Kizaki Tsukiho (1984~) who is an emerging urushi craftsman in Shiga Pref. He makes a wood bowl himself and paints urushi too, generally it is done by each craftsman.
