This pin is a simple design but an unusual one. It is a large 11cm semicircle—or it might be described as one-third of a full moon. This rarely seen pin was, according to the Georg Jensen company, designed by Gail Spence for Hans Hansen in the late 1980s. Hans Hansen became part of Georg Jensen in 1992. Since it has both hallmarks it was probably produced around that time. It is no longer in production.

The piece is marked with the Georg Jensen mark in a circle of dots, 925S Denmark, and the number 254...

This Roberto Cavalli bracelet has large rough chunks of amethyst set in gilt silver and joined by gold links. The bracelet is 7 1/2" (19.5 cm) long and a hair over 2 1/2" (6.8 cm) wide. Each chunk is a slightly different size. On average, they are each 1" (3cm) by 3/4" (2.3 cm). It is signed Roberto Cavalli Made in Italy on the two halves of the clasp. It is in excellent vintage condition

A vintage collar necklace or torsade with 3 strands of alternating pink, cream and rose colored beads with a sterling central pendant and clasp. The sterling pendant measures 1 3/4" long and 1" wide.

The beads may be rose quartz, stone or glass, not sure.

The pendant and clasp are both marked Sterling. Clasp snaps securely.

Measures about 16" long on the shortest strand. Weighs 178 gr.

Composed of linked hand-forged curved pieces with an A-shaped pendant decorated with applied sterling beads, this 1980s necklace has a strong presence. Hinged bars make it comfortable to wear and cause it to drape nicely around the neck. It is marked sterling on the back with an engraved initial A, probably the maker’s mark. The necklace has an internal circumference of about 15 inches; the pendant drops about 2 ¼ inches. Weight: 41.2 grams

Composed of oxidized curved oval panels with identical raised designs of a feline, probably a mountain lion, on a background of raised wavy lines. The bracelet is well made, and the connecting links show little wear and no areas of stress. The oxidation is substantially intact. The bracelet is marked only Mexico 925. It measures 8 inches long, including the jump ring and toggle chain, by 5/8 inch wide. Weight: 27.2 grams

Huge statement multi strand long beaded necklace of glass seed beads and matching dyed red coral color raffia beads, with beaded band. This type of decorative beading, conterie, originated in Italy. This piece is probably Italian. 1980s. This came from a Philadelphia area estate and the original owner purchased this necklace in multiple colors. I am also listing a turquoise version. This pin is a late 20th century rendition of a traditional Russian balalaika composed of sterling silver strings and fittings on a triangular piece of amber. The neck has a layer of what looks like pressed wood to serve as the fingerboard. There is a mark for sterling on the back of the frame and what are probably the maker’s initials of SP; the Polish mark for sterling, 1986 to the present, is on the pin stem...

An 18k yellow gold double swirl modern design ring. This size 6-1/2 or 6.5 crossover style ring weighs an impressive 8.58 grams. It measures 7/8 x 7/8" across the setting which has deeply grooved shell or swirl like crossover sections (or conchiglie, or shell pasta, if you are so inclined). This is a heavy, substantial ring and it is unmarked, probably because of the addition of two sizing beads which may have obscured the hallmarks...

Large, bold ring set with fiery cabochon tiger’s eye. The sterling band and setting show a warm patina from age; there are signs of wear as well as tool marks from the handwork. The stone measures 1 inch long by 5/8 inch wide. The inside of the band is marked for sterling; an eagle 3 is struck on the outside of the band. The ring is a size Size 9 ¾.

This contemporary studio-produced ring is distinctive for its flattened form and flared corners. The applied decoration of beading interspersed with a wavy silver wire is enhanced with a highly oxidized background. The top protrudes 5/16 inch above the finger; the sides of the band are curved inward, making the ring quite comfortable to wear. The ring is a size 8. Weight: 5.3 grams

These earrings are wonderful madness! They are made of translucent molded resin with painted gold details and wired drop beads. The circular earring back, seen through to the front, acts as a design element. They have a wonderful handmade, Mad Max quality. Including the drops they are 2 3/4" (7.5cm) long by a hair more than 2 3/4" (7.5 cm) at the widest. From around 1990, they are in pristine condition.

Very reminiscent of the work Taxco maestro Mateo created in the 1970s and 1980s, this fine, 950 silver Mexican ring is signed by a different, unidentified maker yet its quality and strong presence make it one of the best examples of the form I have seen lately. A while ago, I was lucky enough to buy a group of early Jean Paul Gaultier jewelry. The US rep for Gaultier had it stashed away in a box and was happy to find someone who would appreciate it. These earrings were part of the group. They are 2 5/8" (7 cm) long. The top circle is 1" (2.9 cm) in diameter. The larger circle is a hair less than1 3/8" (3.9 cm) wide. These earrings are "dead stock" and have never been worn.

A wide sterling silver band supports a rectangular piece of polished blue and orange art glass. The inside of the sturdy band indicates it is sterling silver and displays the partial mark of Melvin Roman, a contemporary costume jewelry designer. The ring is approximately a size 6. The mounted glass measures 1 ¼ inches long by 1 inch wide by about ¼ inch high.

A pair of 10k white gold double heart earrings with diamonds. These attractive 1/2 x 7/16" earrings have a large heart shape with a mounted glossy heart with a central ~2.5 point diamond on each earring. The stud wires are stamped 10K, the earrings have a VJ maker's mark and the butterflies are 10k yellow gold. They weigh 1.8 grams and they are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs...

These sterling silver earrings have a bold modernist design and bear the mark of Niels Erik From, Denmark. The wing-like shape gracefully curves outward at the open center. Patina is warm, with only slight signs of wear; the earrings have had a light cloth polishing since the photos. They measure 2 inches long from the top bead, and 1 1/2 inches at the widest area. Weight: 13.5 grams

Composed of a hollow-cast rectangular top with a textured band, this ring is designed to sit horizontally, extending over an adjacent finger. It works best when worn on the fourth, or traditional, ring finger, so that it extends over the pinkie. It is lightweight and quite comfortable as a result. The underside of the top bears the Israel and sterling marks, as well as a maker’s mark of Rozin. The ring is a size 8; the top measures 1 3/16 inches long by 5/8 inch wide by about 3/16 inch deep.

A pair of William Spratling sterling silver pierced earrings with large dangling fans or sails. These earrings were made in the 1980s.

They measure 1 1/2" across the widest part and 2 1/4" high including the post back. Marked on the back of each earring with the conjoined WS and Spratling 925 Taxco Mexico. They are also marked with TS24 indicating the later date. Post backs hold securely. In fine condition.
