This stylish basket weave purse was quite the rage during the 1950s when Dorset Rex marketed this patented purse during the Eisenhower years. The patent was actually issued in late 1949, after which a wide range of purses entered the market. The Dorset Rex tag tells us that the purse was made after 1951, thus we date it c. 1955.

This is one really nice 6 1/2 inch high Frosted Tumbler featuring the 1964-1965 New York Worlds Fair.
