The name of the recipient might be "Ghica", or even another variant---difficult to decipher. Caron of course is the actress known for "Gigi", "An American in Paris", and so forth...

A classic, circa 1980 or early 1980's photograph of famed American actress and singer BARBARA STREISAND (1942-). I am guessing on the age but she looks to be about 40 or so in the photo, and the permed hair is of that period----and then, there are those fishnets. The piece is signed boldly in blue marker at lower right "Best Wishes/Barbara Streisand". The piece measures 11" by 9" framed. Streisand of course is world-renowned as an entertainer...

A classic 9" by 7" black and white photo of George Burns holding a cigar, an impish grin on his face, inscribed in yellow (or ink that has faded to yellow) "Best, George Burns" at lower left. Burns (1896-1996) was an American actor, singer, and writer whose career in entertainment spanned many, many decades. With the passage of time, the photo has stuck to the glass at upper right and I am afraid to try to remove it. In a simple inexpensive frame.

A copy of the 2011 autobiographical book "Happy Accidents" by comedienne Jane Lynch, dedicated by her to "Anthony" in marker and signed boldly on that page as well. This is an autobiography of the tall blonde actress and tv personality, addressing, among other topics, her life as a gay woman. The book is clean and fresh, just slight wear to top front edge of dust jacket. Measures 9 1/2" by 6 1/4" by 3/4".

A PAIR of original glossy black and white photos of actors HURD HATFIELD (1917-1998) and GENE NELSON (1920-1996), circa 1940's, both autographed and inscribed to an as yet unidentified "Wilson", which is the principal reason why I have decided to sell them together (they are also identical sizes and identically framed and matted). The Hatfield has the following inscription at left: "For Wilson--with admiration for his dancing---In friendship--Yours, Hurd Hatfield"...

A hand signed copy of the 1996 First Edition copy of "Ghost of a Chance", the memoir of pianist and bandleader PETER DUCHIN (1937-), son of the swing musician Eddy Duchin. The younger Duchin led a glittering life in high society during the middle years of the century, and the interesting tales of his privileged upbringing and performance history are detailed in this hard cover book. Black and white photo (9 3/4" by 8", 16" by 13 3/4" framed) of Rick "Ricky" Nelson, circa late 1950's, autographed at right and inscribed "To Jill". The signature and inscription are bold and nicely placed at right center. Nelson officially changed his name to "Rick" in 1961, so this might have been signed after that. The framing seems to be circa late 1960's or 1970's. Nelson was born in Teaneck, New Jersey...

The piece looks vintage but it appears that the "That's It" album dates to only 2013. The vintage graphics style nevertheless give a vintage, older, circa 1960's or 1970's look.
