Bronze cigar lighter, table or saloon item, late 19th century or early 20th century, marked Germany, in form of rooster with elaborate tail feathers, chain holds cap, this elaborate form was popular from mid 19th century to early 20th century. and is increasingly hard to find.

Rare collection (5 pieces) of pottery tobacco pipes used by the Rau/Brau people. These were acquired in Laos quite a few years. Most likely fired at the Yixing Kilns, in Jiangsu Province- the same place that made opium pipe bowls. These would date from late 19th century to first half 20th century- the ones with reddish clay being the oldest. They have some small chips consistent with old tribal pieces...
Hold a secret in this handsome cigarette case made in Germany, circa 1925 comprising a tortoise shell finish with a black jewel-like clasp. Inside having a gold tone finish and two decorative bars, marked under clasp D.R. Germany. Measurements: 3 1/4" x 2 1/4". Good condition with several hard to see dimples and minor paint loss.
