A scarce 4-1/4" vintage late 1930s-mid 1940s Mary Grayo stoppered glass fur perfume bottle with the original label. This company was in business in Monte Carlo for a very short time, from the late 1930s to the mid-1940s. The label has losses but the Mary Grayo name is mostly quite legible; the bottle is molded with a 45 on the bottom. The lady is holding up a lily over her head and does not have the usual flowing hair, but what appears to be a bob with a fringe? So is that Art Deco? Early 20's?
