Originating from Cairo and dated AH 1347 corresponding to 1928 AD. The other with cover made of printed wax cloth. Condition: not collated, first one with missing magnifying glass and loose binding, the second one with one loose page and one with tear. Dimension: 3.6 cm x 2.6 cm, 3.4 cm x 2.4 cm.
An authentic document signed by Gov. Alfred E Smith (NY) attesting to the fact that as requested by the Governor of Massachusetts he "surrendered" Fred W. Simmons, a fugitive from justice Dated August 17, 1927 . Smith's signature is in the lower right corner - it is also signed by counsel.
