3 Neanderthal multi-tools from Fontmaure, France. heights from 2 1/2"- 2 3/4". Jasper, some slight chips to the tool on the left, otherwise fine condition with lovely ground patina. All are legal surface finds. Unusual group of smaller but very thick and sturdy flake tools. The two lithics to the left have complex scraper edges and pronounced notches. The lithic to the right is a burin or borer with a very masterfully done abrupt scraper edge. All date to 80,000-50,000 BCE.
