There is a spot on the bottom textblock and the pastedown in the back is showing some wear but the book is intact. The jacket shows light wear with a small crease on the inside corner jacket.

The book is very slightly cocked and the pages have toning. The jacket has light wear with two small tears at the bottom and top of the spine. A fine copy of the book "Kitty City", published 2005, this a first edition, hand inscribed in marker by famous American artist JUDY CHICAGO (born 1939). The 9 3/4" by 9 1/2" book is very clean. Judy Chicago (born Judy Gerowitz) is well known for her feminist-centered art, and for her 1970's installation work "Dinner Party". The book is full of color and black and white drawings by the artist, who tenderly reviews the relationships she has had with cats who have entered her life...

A copy of "Many Long Years Ago", 4th edition, 1945, in original dust jacket, HAND SIGNED in blue ink by the noted American poet of light verse, OGDEN NASH (1902-1971). The copy retains a dust jacket which shows its age. Nash was known for his unique poetic style.

A rare first edition of Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) book "A Tramp Abroad", as found in apparently scarce original leather covers rather than the more commonly seen cloth. The book has the ad after page 631 and "Moses" rather than "Titian's Moses" in the frontispiece, indicating an early state. I am not a book specialist so am pointing out characteristics that I see suggest rarity and early state...

A cloth bound edition in excellent condition (with the exception of a few front pages rippled at the bottom), the book includes a series of transcriptions of an event at which Sherif discusses in depth the most important aspects of Sufism, i.e. Basmala. 478pp.
