Large and decorative, shows in detail the area enclosed by the Maledives to Afghanistan and the Yellow River to Java. Outlines coloured. Printed on heavy woven paper, this map of Russia is from Holland, and the date 1792 is penciled in the upper right corner. There are no dates or authorship within the printed map. The sheet measures 15 5/8" x 10 1/8" with intact margins. The two lower corners are bent, there is some slight darkening of the paper, and the map is folded, with a reinforcing strip on the back. Given the size, it was likely a fold out section of a book or atlas...

Measuring 10 5/8" by 8 1/2", this map shows all the Hawaiian, or Sandwich Islands, with an inset of Oahu, and marked Longitude and Latitudes.
