Thiis exceptional fruit knife set is in mint condition.

A set of four fans (uchiwa) made of bamboo and washi (Japanese hand-made paper). Each has hand-painted pictures and signs such as three kabuki "kumadori" which is special makeup of the kabuki player and Otahuku. All have the same written seal marks, however the name of the artist is not clear. Two are painted with kakishibu (persimmon tannin) 20th century. In excellent condition. W:30.5cm H:35.5cm

This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Bing & Grondahl between 1948 and 1951. The base is impressed with the signature of the renowned artist, Dahl Jensen. It has a model number, 1628. The peacock measures 15 inches long and 7 1/2 inches high. The modeling is well done, with excellent detail. The figurine is hand painted in natural colors. His pose displays his regal splendor. Condition: Excellent, first quality.

A smoky grey and / or steel blue bowl with softly folded sides, the shape typical of the 1950´s. Original paper label with: Pietro Toso & Co: Murano. A 7 ½ inch diameter gold Aurene vase by Steuben. The vase is shape 354 and is properly marked “Aurene 354" around the polished pontil. The vase has a flared out scalloped rim and stands 4 ½ inches tall. The vase is perfect.
