Consolidated Glass Company made the Catalonian pattern in 1926. Made to look like glass found in Spain at the archaeological sites, Catalonian is characterized by interior bubbles and raised rings on the surface of the glass. Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Art nouveau sterling teaspoon with four cherubs faces by the famous Newark, NJ silversmith, Unger Brothers, 1904. Beautiful arts & crafts handmade sterling and wood tea set, comprising of 6 pieces, c.1910. Every piece is marked "STERLING" except for the sugar. The Crinkle pattern was produced by Morgantown glass company in the late 1930's and into the 1960's. This is the 12 oz tumbler in ruby. The tumbler is 5 inches high and in perfect condition. This 20th century Long-Quan style seated Guan Yin with dragon is 9 ½ inches tall. The entirety of the statue is covered with green glaze except for the face, hand and foot which are covered with a brown matte glaze. It is in good condition.

Set of four Bohemian glasses, each hand painted with a different pair of dogs. We're not dog experts, but they appear to be Scotties, wolfhounds, spaniels and Dalmatians. The quality of the painting is very nice, as is the quality of the glass. The top and bottom edges are decorated with gilt lines. The polished bottoms are acid-etched "Made In Czechoslovakia".

This is a Chinese Nephrite JADE PENDANT with a Carving of a LADY. The back has a depiction of a Leaf. Size is 1 5/8" X 3" X 1" in thickness. There is a pierced point at the top where a Pendant Bale can be attached. This Carving has a Primitive feel. Based upon what the original owner told me, this Pendant was purchased in mainland China. Date this JADE LADY circa 1950, perhaps earlier. FYI... the Stone easily passes the Jade Scratch test. Condition is Excellent...

Large sterling silver berry spoon in Kirk's wonderful "Repousse" pattern. Certainly the most famous of all silver patterns to emerge from Baltimore, "Repousse" is filled with flowers such as roses, daisies and forget-me-nots. The bowl of the spoon is decorated with mixed fruit including strawberries, apples, grapes and raspberries. The back is marked "S. Kirk & Son Sterling", the mark used between 1927 and 1961.

This 8 page pamphlet is essential for any collection of faience pieces for Gustavsberg. While Stig Lindberg designed the faience vases, bowls, and platters, he only painted a few of these himself. The Hina dolls palace is for the Japanese Girl's Day, Hina Matsuri festival. The Hina doll set that I grew up with was displayed in the steps style, which is a common way of displaying 15 dolls with furniture. I have never seen this type of Hina Goten (Palace) until I found several of these recently. It tells us how different things used to be (and still is to some extent) according to regions. The hina dolls were modeled after the Imperial Court from the Heian period (794-1192)...
