Heavy, thick walled vase in cobalt blue cased in crystal, with silvery air traps in a repeating
geometric pattern.
The vase stands 8 inches tall and is 4 inches in diameter at the top. the base tapers to 2 1/4 inches.
This vase weighs in at 9 pounds, a lot of weight to work with on a handmade, hand-finished piece!
The piece is signed on the base Orrefors/Ariel 295 E-4/Ingeborg Lundin
Condition of the vase is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. 1974
A Carved silhouette agate snuff bottle, the slightly flattened globular body carved to the front face using the dark brown layer with a scholar among trees, flowers and rockery. The reverse left bare. Complete with original matching agate stopper. Recessed base.

George V covered urn. Made by Lionel Alfred Crichton in London in 1930. Girdled urn on stepped, raised, and gadrooned foot; s-scroll side handles with leaf cap and pendant flower heads. Cover domed with gadrooned rim and finial. Cutout strapwork applied to bowl and cover. Traditional Classical form in Britannia (that is, 958) silver. Fully marked. Very good condition.

With pottery shards from excavated kilns dating back to the 5th Century, Mino-ware is one of the oldest and most revered pottery traditions in all of Japan. Though the piece featured here does not fit neatly into any of the typical categories of Mino pottery such as Kiseto, Setoguro, Oribe, or Shino; the shape and overall feel of this piece unmistakably places it within this pottery tradition...
This is a very nice sword walking stick that features two lions heads as the handle. Carved in ivory, this stick measures 40 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 1 3/4". The handle itself measures 5 3/4" x 2 1/2" x 1 3/4". The collar is 1", the ferrule is 1 1/2" and the length of the blade of the sword is 25". Quite a weapon!
