Like the colorful back of some sea creature white dots rise in concentric lines up to the undulating fluted rim of this exceptional glass bowl by Iwata Toshichi enclosed in the original signed and heavily padded wooden box titled Kaki, Kaichu no En (Flower Receptacle, Garden in the Sea) dating from the 1940s to 50s.
