Traditional Korean pillow made of wood and embroideries with the idiom of Chinese character which stands for "Peacefulness". Mid 20th century. approx. 23 x 12 x 9cm (9.05 x 4.72 x 3.54in). Fine original vintage condition overall as is, but partially repaired and attached with a white pillow slip in the later years.

Edwardian glass and sterling silver cocktail shaker. Made by Hawkes in Corning, New York, ca 1930. Clear glass tapering bowl with acid-etched hunt scene. An old-fashioned gent in top hat takes a fence in pursuit of a fox. Eager hounds close the gap. Sterling silver collar and domed cover with built-in strainer and snug-fitting cap. Fully marked.
