An English Bursley Ware bowl by Charlotte Rhead, 1940s, of square shape. Slip-glaze decoration in the Carnations or T. L. 40 pattern in blue and gilt on off-white, marbled ground. This set of 6 porcelain tea cups and saucers was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1940s or 1950s. The saucers are 4 7/8 inches in diameter and the cups are 1 3/4 inches high. This is a set of SIX porcelain coffee cups (3" x 3 7/8") and matching saucers, handpainted for Gefle, Upsala-Ekeby. Mint condition. A superb, eye-catching set.

This Art Deco charger, c 1939, is from Kupittaan pottery in Finland. The decoration, a male nude combined with a border of laurel leaves, suggests a Olympics venue. The 1940 Olympic Games, originally scheduled for Japan, was rescheduled for Helsinki, Finland. Those games were postponed because of the Soviet invasion of Finland in 1939. This charger probably was created in anticipation of the Helsinki games. It measures 14" in diameter, and is in mint condition. A very rare object.

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Royal Doulton in 1938. They measure 10 1/2 inches in diameter. They are made of fine bone china that is ivory in color. The entire front surface of the plate is decorated. They have elaborate gold borders with cartouches containing urns. The centers are hand painted with scenes of Italian landscapes and water views. They were painted by the renowned artist, P. Curnock. He used color beautifully in the skies and mountains...

This three cup candelabra (which may be turned upside down) measures 5" tall and is 7 1/8" in length. On the underside of one of the cups is painted Sweden 26III; on another the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia and the painter's mark of a star. The cups are hand painted in blue, yellow and red. Excellent condition.

This is a really pretty 11 inch diameter Cake Plate made by Coors China. The Plate has a pretty Floral decoration. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. This pattern was product of Harry W. Rhead, and was Roseville's first major success.It has a band cherubs in a wide variety of scenes separated by trees on a light brown background. Several rows of white piping are used to emphasize the rim, base and the band of cherubs. unmarked!

The blanc de chine cherub is modeled with excellent definition and adorable character. He is sitting on a huge gold ball seemingly about to slide off. Tutter used imaginative and intriguing subjects that are delightful. Condition: Excellent

This extraordinary vessel is a prime example of Wilhelm Kåge's celebrated Farsta series for Gustavsberg, Sweden. This piece measures 10 1/2" tall and is 4 7/8" in diameter. On the underside is incised Kåge, Gustavsberg, the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia, and the date code Z. This magnificent vessel was created in 1955. Mint condition.

English dark blue Wedgwood Jasper ware bottle shape Vase, 5" high, 2 3/4" wide-widest part, impressed mark "Wedgwood", "Made in England" and "Y" on the bottom, with beautifully detailed classical figures applied on dark blue bisque finish body. The condition is very good, no damage.

English Wedgwood Jasper Ware Pitcher, 4 3/4" high, 4 1/4" wide with twisted rope handle, dark blue with beautifully applied and executed low relief classical design on dark blue body and the grape vine on top border is higher relief than classical figures below, the detail is very delicate and finely done, impressed mark "Wedgwood" and "Made in England" on the bottom, some dark stain on the white figures. The condition is good, no damage.

This porcelain dish was produced in Denmark by Bing and Grondahl around 1950. The inventory number is 1167. It measures 7 1/2 inches long, 6 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches deep. The porcelain is quite substantial. The dish is molded in high relief with an art nouveau inspired design of stylized leaves and flowers. The color pallet is shades of blue, violet and brown. An English hand painted Gaudy Welsh tea set by Allerton's, consisting of the 6" high teapot (including finial), the 5" tall large covered sugar bowl, the 4-3/4" tall milk or cream jug, four 2-1/2" tall cups and four 5-7/8" fitted saucers. Including the lids there are 13 pieces and each is handpainted with cobalt, orange, green and copper lustre. the shape and decoration are undoubtedly those of Allertons however the saucers are marked with what appear to be impressed date stamps (from 1928-29)...
