This porcelain and silver tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Freidrich Deusch silver company circa 1950. The set retains its original paper labels which cover the porcelain blank mark. The saucer is 6 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 inches high. A delightful design of hand painted birds and flowers is outlined in silver. It is a rare and desirable set to find. This is a large vase, and rather heavy, 21 1/2" long, 11" across, signed with a "P" in the chalky base. I've examined it closely and find no chips on rim or anywhere else. The piece is entirely hand thrown and decorated/painted, and quite Arts and Craftsy in feeling. I am a paintings specialist so this is somewhat out of my league. I did send images to Rago Auction in New Jersey and they were unable to identify the maker. It was found here in Southern California...

These 6 porcelain plates were produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1958. The markings on the back indicate this year of manufacture. The plates have a diameter of 10 3/4 inches. They are made of fine bone china. Each plate is hand painted with a different spray of flowers and are signed by the artist Freeman. The flowers are vibrantly, and realistically rendered. The flowers account for an area of 3 1/2 inches in diameter...
