This lovely shallow bowl has a floral design (silver). It measures 6 1/2" (16.5cm) in diameter and is 1 1/2" (4cm) high. On the underside of the foot is stamped Gustavsberg with the old anchor insignia, Argenta, and Made in Sweden. Painted in gold is the model number 1521 and the letter B. Mint condition.

Made of pottery and covered with gilt leather, beautifully patinated though obviously scarcely used. Designed as bird’s heads, faintly resembling the Egyptian god Thoth. This fine china is the American Franciscan Ivy pattern. The dinner plate is 10 3/8" in diameter, embossed, and hand-painted under glaze. It was made by the Gladding, McBean & Company circa 1948

One dinner plate shows very little crazing and the other shows the crazing in the bottom of the plate. Pictures 2 and 3 show the back stamps for each of these plates. These plates retail for $29.95 each.
