Beautiful crackle-glaze Egyptian Blue bowl by Pol Chambost (French, 1906-1983), in beautiful condition. This bowl measures 16 1/2 cm in diameter and 5 cm in height. It is signed "Pol Chambost" (incised underglaze signature) on the bottom. Pol Chambost is one of the most important French ceramicists of the mid-century period. He was active in Paris between 1930 and 1980. He is also known as a sculptor and a designer.

This work is 20 1/2" high. A retrospective exhibition of Ron Meyers works at the Museum of Arts and Science in Macon, Georgia in 1995 included large bottles very much like this one.

Beautiful, very elegant silver overlay vase with a bright blue background and silver overlay small leaves all over. It measures 13" tall x 6" diameter at the top, 10" diameter in the middle, and 5" at the bottom. The size of this vase makes it a very impressive piece, and the silver is everywhere. It is in beautiful condition, and is signed Thomas Ivory, Germany US Zone, Bavaria.

He exhibited at the Syracuse Nationals in 1937, had a solo show at the Dallas Museum of Art in 1948 and at the Art Institute of Chicago, where he was teaching, in 1959...

From a North Carolina estate. Sally Prange lived and worked in North Carolina. Her work can be found in a number of museums and collections.
Pair Roseville candlesticks Style #1134. What makes these different from virtually all other Roseville pieces is that they show the iris blooms in the normal three dimentional shape, rising up from the base. The blooms are white tinged with a pinkish lavender and bits of yellow. They measure 3 1/2" tall x 4" wide and are in excellent condition.
Exceptionally large incised unglazed lidded jar by Brian Van Nostrand (noted studio potter from the Mountains of West Virginia, circa 1980). This work is 13" high, and measures 11" in diameter. Wood fired, inside of the jar and bottom of the lid glazed, pristine condition, incised "Van Nostrand" signature on the bottom.

Salt fired as most pieces from this maker were. Very dramatic shades of blue over cream, oatmeal, light and dark brown. Roughly 11" across and 8" tall. Some wear to the glaze on the edge, otherwise in good condition. One of a number of works by this artist currently available.
