Beautiful crackle-glaze Egyptian Blue bowl by Pol Chambost (French, 1906-1983), in beautiful condition. This bowl measures 16 1/2 cm in diameter and 5 cm in height. It is signed "Pol Chambost" (incised underglaze signature) on the bottom. Pol Chambost is one of the most important French ceramicists of the mid-century period. He was active in Paris between 1930 and 1980. He is also known as a sculptor and a designer.

Pair Roseville candlesticks Style #1134. What makes these different from virtually all other Roseville pieces is that they show the iris blooms in the normal three dimentional shape, rising up from the base. Very large unusual footed bowl by Roger Guerin (Belgium, 1896-1954), circa 1920-1930. Signed "Guerin" (signature #9 in "Sel et Feu") and incised 160/D for glaze and form. Salt fired as most pieces from this maker were. Very dramatic shades of blue over cream, oatmeal, light and dark brown. Roughly 11" across and 8" tall. Some wear to the glaze on the edge, otherwise in good condition. One of a number of works by this artist currently available.
