Circa 1920sEichwald majolica centerpiece with a lion head on the base. Large and colorful, this blue bowl with a golden yellow interior is relief decorated on the exterior with small raspberry red flowers, light green tendrils, and paisley shaped pink medallions. Other colors are lavender, and golden brown. A fabulous statement piece. Marked" Eichwald" and "Czechoslovakia", it measures 15" high, 12ʺ long × 8.25ʺ wide.

Two lovely pottery vases by Czech Dux, c 1930 or late 1920’s, the larger vase drop shaped, the smaller one bulbous. Slip glaze decoration of grapes in blue, green and brown over white. Height “11 ½ / 29 cm and “4 / 10.5 cm respectively. Green acorn within triangle mark and DUX to the larger vase, impressed model numbers to both. Condition: minor crackling to glaze of the smaller vase, the larger with a nick to the foot rim.

Here is a fantastic Zsolnay vase, measuring 11" tall and 2" in diameter. Mint condition. See photo for marking.

Offered is a spectacular art deco sculpture for Zolnay. It measures 6" high. Mint condition.

Czech Art Déco lidded box by Ditmar Urbach, boldly decorated with swirls or stylized flower heads in black, yellow, green and orange in "Persian" style within a framework of blue slip, c. 1930. Marked Czechoslovakia and Hand Painted. Diameter "4 ½ / 11.5 cm, height "2 ½ / 6.5 cm. Condition: fine.

Teapot, milk jug, cup and saucer, a solitaire service made by the Carl Knoll factory in Czech Carlsbad / Karlovy Vary. Cross-striped like the Victorian bathing-suits – just a coincidence or might there be a thought behind this design? Carlsbad was a fashionable 19th century spa, famous for its hot springs. Impressed mark for 1848 – 1868. Height of teapot "4 ½ / 11 cm including handle, diameter of saucer "5 ½ / 14 cm. Condition: a nick to the cup (cf. pics).

Tall Czech Amphora art deco 2 handled pottery vase featuring enameled ostriches and palm trees set against a textured matte ground. The backside had a very art deco design, perhaps a stylized flower? In excellent, it measures 16 inches high. More photos available upon request.

Classical urn vase by Herend. The porcelain factory in Herend, Hungary, was founded in the 1820's and is still working. The urn is the raspberry red version of their Chinese Bouquet pattern, the mark indicates a date before 1980. No lid. Height "8¾/ 22,5 cm. Condition: fine.

Impressive 12 inch long Herend blue fishnet dog figurine with 24 karat accents . In excellent condition, he measures 12" long x 7" high x 6.5" wide. Made and sold in Hungary. More details and photos coming. Meanwhile, please inquire.

A very well made, hand painted, vintage Hungarian Herend Porcelain Factory figurine depicting a dancing male Hungarian peasant dressed in traditional Hungarian folk costume performing the national dance, " Lad."

The underside marked in blue with Herend Porcelain Factory mark and also with incised Herend and the number 5496.

This wonderful and decorative pair of Czechoslovakian porcelain 9-1/2" cabinet plates c1920s has an orange and yellow multicolour angular border outside a lush cobalt blue inner rim with gold decoration. The portrait inner has gold decoration around the perimeter and highly detailed and colourful transfer portraits of jewel bedecked young ladies. Each bears the D&F CZECHOSLOVAKIA mark of EPIAG PROESCHOLD & CO...

Charmingly kitschy majolica figurines, a pair of musicians by Ditmar Urbach, c 1930. An accordionist and a flutist, in Robin Hood-like attire. Height "9½/ 24 cm. Printed mark Ditmar Urbach Made in Germany, impressed model numbers 14257 and 142 58. The mark was in use before the confiscation of the factory in 1938 . Condition: a nick to the hand of one musician and repair to the hat of the other, and to the feet of both (cf. photos).

This perfume bottle with stopper was produced in Hungary by Herend in 1976. It has a commemorative mark for the 150th year of the company’s existence. The bottle is 7 1/2 inches tall with the stopper. There are two amazing features of this bottle. One is the double walled reticulated porcelain it is made of. Second is the amazing stopper with 5 inch dauber. The front of the bottle has a reserve of Rothchild birds in a tree...

This covered dish was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1950 and 1970. It measures 4 inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches high. The porcelain is finely pierced or reticulated. The handle and roses on the lid are applied. The dish is hand painted in brilliant colors and amply gilded. It would be used as a pot-pourri dispenser. It is a lovely accent piece of delicate quality. Condition: Excellent

Soup's on in this elegant Herend soup tureen in the Queen Victoria pattern, with matching cover, circa 1940, bearing the Herend shield; also marked 1003 / VBO over B; comprising basket weave molding, gilt accents, and hand painted with flower sprays and butterflies; the tureen has four delicate applied flowers and vine twist handles; the cover with a lemon finial.  Measurements: tureen with cover: 15 x 113/4 inches. Very fine Herend large triangle dish in the Queen Victoria pattern, green border, circa 1940. Still being produced, the earlier Herend pieces were hand painted with finer detail and a thicker hard paste porcelain body. This dish is trimmed in 24K gold. Size: 9 1/2" L. Condition is like new. One of a pair.
