Rare and impressive Art Deco ceramic vase by Edouard Cazaux (France, 1889, 1974), in a classic Cazaux baluster form decorated with abstracted foliate designs in his hallmark teal and silver crackle glazes over a white crackle enamel. Large and impressive French Art Deco vase by Robert Lallemant (1902-1954), circa 1928-1930. Almost black iridescent glaze. Fully signed: "T.R.Lallemant" and inscribed "France". 14 3/4" tall. In excellent condition. Robert Lallemant was an important French ceramicist of the period, as well as a furniture designer (he created furniture for the UAM--Union des Artistes Modernes) and all around designer and photographer.
