Four-lobed, melon shaped decanter with sterling silver mounts at the neck and stopper. The decanter stands 10.25 inches (26 cm) tall with the stopper in place, and is 8 inches (20 cm) with the stopper removed. Offered is this beautiful old Pairpoint lamp. The lamp-shade is decorated with hand-painted garland of flowers. Overall, the lamp is 17 inches tall. The shade is 10 1/4 inches wide and 5 5/8 inches high. Overall, the lamp is in very good condition (mentioned for accuracy: there is the expected age-appropriate tarnishing of the metal, part of the plugging-socket is gone, though it is safe, and some rim-roughness that are typical of these old shades - see last picture)...

This particular type of glass was quite limited because of WW11 when production was withdrawn and then reintroduce in 1953.

This really nice large frosted Bell with Clapper and Wooden Handle was made by Westmoreland Glass. This Bell measures 8 1/2 inches high to the top of the handle X 4 3/8 inches in diameter at the bottom of the bell. This Bell has a bird decal on it. Bead Chain fixtures were the standard ceiling fixture of the American home from the 1920’s through the 1940’s. The decorative glass shade hung from 3 bead chains, and could be adjusted up or down depending on the size of the room and height of the ceiling. The graceful Art Deco design of these fixtures makes them the perfect fit in today's homes.

The Florentine pattern was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1932 to 1935. It was made with scalloped edges or straight edges. Although Hazel Atlas didn't distinguish one from the other, collectors today call the scalloped edge 'Florentine 1' and the straight edge style 'Florentine 2'.
