This is a really nice pair of depression glass amber Madrid 4 inch high Salt and Pepper Shakers made by Federal Glass from 1933 to 1939. Both shakers are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The original metal lids are good: one has two dents, the other shows wear, but they both work freely. This elegant, delicate water tumbler is by Morgantown Glass from early in the Depression years. It is in the Anna Rose pink color showing the deep optic swirls of the Palm Optic pattern. The foot is also pink and broad for good balance. It stands 4 3/4" tall and is in excellent, undamaged condition. It is cased glass - a rich mulberry-lavender and bright white striped body sitting on a broad, round crystal foot. It does have several bubbles around the rim at the tip of each purple stripe.
