In the mid-1930s, Venini engaged Carlo Scarpa to design innovative glass surface textures and this historical gem, "A BOLLICINE", survives in excellent condition! The base is polished and has 2 acid stamps: "venini murano" and "MADE IN ITALY", measuring 2" H, 3 3/4" W, 3 3/4"D.

Offered is this large signed Seguso Murano glass vase. The vase is 13 3/4 inches (35 cm) tall, 7 3/4 inches (20 cm) wide and 5 inches (12,5 cm) deep. It is without any chips, cracks or repairs. The vase was used for keeping live flowers, and as such, there are some scratches and a water mark on the vase (see last picture - it should be possible to get the water mark off with a vinegar solution). This charming pair of vintage glass hound dogs, made by Archimede Seguso in the "nero a macchie di smalto bianco" (black with white spots) style in the 1950s. Documented in "Archimede Seguso, Lace & Stone" by Leslie Pina, P. 162, 213. Both are in excellent condition, with the dark-headed one having a few minor scuffs consistent with its age. They each stand 4" tall, 2 1/2" wide.

This is a large ovoid shaped paperweight from the 1960's with a single large colorful fish swimming among green seaweed. The paperweight is large and heavy (almost 9 pounds), standing 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) Tall and approximately 4.5 inches (11.4 cm) in diameter. No chips, cracks or repairs; appropriate age scratches to base. Unsigned.
Sumptuous sculpted sommerso bowl in ever so soft hues of teal and amber glass. My guess is that this is a Flavio Poli design due to the purity of form and soft hues of color. Obviously inspired by the nature of the Venetian Lagoon, this piece resembles a birds eye view of the island of Murano and its surrounding Lagoon. The base of the bowl was protected over the years by three felt pads added to the bottom, so the piece is in great condition. It measures 9.5"w x 3"h, unmarked.

Large (height: 12 inches or 30 cm, width at top: 10 1/2 inches or 27,5 cm) Venini Murano glass vase designed by Sergio Asti and made around 1970. It is worthy of mention that this vase is much larger than the typical Asti vase made in this decor, which are around 9 inches tall. It is in excellent condition. It is signed on the bottom, 'Asti Venini Murano' (please see last picture)
Classic vase form in mezza filigrana using lattimo and transparent copper blue threads. The form is augmented with side applications of basilica rope in crystal with gold aventurine and a crimped crystal lip decoration with gold aventurine. The piece stands 4 inches (10 cm) tall, 6 inches (15 cm) wide, and is 3 inches (7.6 cm) deep. There is a small, less than 1/8 inch (.3 cm), flake on the edge of the piece, but otherwise in fine condition. Circa 1975
