Here is a rare and important ariel vase by the master Edvin Ohrstrom for Orrefors. The zig zag design on a blood red background is spectacular. The vase, in excellent condition, measures 7 1/4" (18cm) tall. On the underside is incised Orrefors, Sweden, Edvin Ohrstrom, the date code Ariel 1055E.

Signed Venini Fazzoletto (aka: handkerchief) in slightly opalescent Lemon Yellow glass; vase stands 8 inches (20 cm) tall and is 8 inches (20 cm) wide and has a polished pontil and "pulled" points. The piece is acid stamped venini/murano/ITALIA. Vases of this type were made early in the production with the more complex designs coming later. No chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1950

Center bowl of opalescent glass with irregular aventurine patches floating in pools of clear teal-blue. Slightly irregular oval, almost egg shaped, bowl measures a (HUGE!) 19 inches (48 cm) by 13 (33 cm) and is 2.5 inches (6 cm) deep. Bowl has a flat bottom with a polished pontil and retains its blue and silver Murano Glass, made in Italy label. Likely an Ermanno Toso design of 1950/1960. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1960.

Bead Chain fixtures were the standard ceiling fixture of the American home from the 1920’s through the 1940’s. The decorative glass shade hung from 3 bead chains, and could be adjusted up or down depending on the size of the room and height of the ceiling. Circa 1920's Dart pattern by Lancaster Glass Company bowl with its original 2 handled underplate or tray. The tray measures 12.5” from handle to handle and has a variety of uses on its own such as cake plate, sandwich or appetizer serving tray. The bowl has a scalloped edge and measures 9.5” in diameter excluding handles and 2.75" high. Another useful piece on its own, it could be used as a salad or vegetable bowl. Together the 2 pieces make a wonderful punch bowl for smaller occasions...

This lovely Heisey Orchid wine stem is in excellent, undamaged condition. The bowl is surrounded by an acid etch motif of upside-down orchids and big sprays of ribbons and bows. The Tyrolean stem is quite bright and elegant all attached to a clear broad foot. It stands 6 1/8" tall, and I have one more in my inventory.
