Fine strand of prewar WWII, glass Venetian trade beads from Africa, L: 58cm/23in. These are strung on a contemporary cotton green string with copper wire fastener. Included on this strand is large “faux” amber center bead attached on a secondary strand of African sand cast beads. The Venetians have ostrich shell spacer disc beads. Free shipping!

This is a really nice crystal clear Colonial, aka Knife and Fork, 7 inch Ice Lip Pitcher made by Hocking Glass from 1934 to 1938. This Pitcher is listed in the book as a 54 ounce Water Pitcher. It actually holds 58 ounces almost running over, so the 54 ounces is more realistic. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. A rare Murano glass Amberina vase with controlled bubbles ('Bullicante') and having gold-fleck applied handles. The vase is 6 3/4 inches (17 cm) wide and 5 inches (12,5 cm) tall. It is in fine condition. Unsigned. It is attributed to Barrovier-Seguso-Ferro (probably designed by Flavio Poli).

The Manhattan pattern was produced by Hocking Glass Company from 1939 to 1941. Its clean, deco lines makes it very popular with today's collectors. Flavio Poli designed 5 variations of this fine example of Modern Design for Seguso Vetri D'Arte in the 1930's. Marc Heiremans' "SEGUSO VETRI D'ARTE" documents this sculptural bowl form: Model #3434, P. 85. This beauty is done in the "pesco oro" technique, with gold foil embedded to enhance the richness of the material. Thick sculpted glass to the exterior produces a modernist form which beautifully catches light. It measures 2 1/4"H, 6"D and is in excellent condition.

This unique figurine of a peasant boy carrying a sack, clearly demonstrates the artistic virtuosity of the Murano glass artists. Lovely covered dresser box attributed to Artisti Barovier, circa 1920s. In green with applied pink "pasta glass" details and a beautifully crafted purple and green bunch of grapes on the lid. The entire piece is lightly iridescent, making it glow and reflect in the light. This thin and light piece has a snap pontil, and is a rare piece of early Murano glass. Measures approximately 5" in diameter and 3.5" tall. Excellent condition.

A beautiful blue glass bull figurine (with white latimo glass horns), designed by either Napoleone Martinuzzi, or, designed in his style. The figurine is 11 inches (28 cm) long and 7 inches (17,8 cm) high.
