Rare blue tile and brass footed pitcher of Mayan figure design by Salvador Teran, Mexico, c.1955. Handwrought and very heavy weight, the brass pitcher has a band of blue tiles going down the handle and around the center of the body with 6 brass Mayan figures. Measures 7" high by 5 1/4" diameter and is signed "HANDWROUGHT SALVADOR HECHO EN MEXICO 433". A fun Arts and Crafts Period round brass and copper covered box. A prominent cherry blossom decoration adorns the top - outlined by the studded brass cover with etched decoration - explosing a hand hammered copper surface. Etched vine decoration also around the side with copper banding and studs. Not sure if this is Western or Japanese production - the Arts and Crafts Period starting and extending later in Japan...

Pair of 24'' tall brass church candle holders with exceptional detailing featuring a cross on the base. This is an older pair, no later than first half of 20th century and quite heavy. They have been lacquered, so you don't need to polish them. They were lamped in the 1970's. and I purchased them as lamps 10 years ago and opted to use them as candleholders. As all Art Nouveau even in the button collecting area, that era is thinly represented. Seen in the BBB: 1 1/4" GIBSON GIRL Picture Button with flat back and 2 air vent openings for heated air escape when made. It takes a strong loupe to see very little brass showing through the silver between 11 & 12 O'Clock. Sold, no price, no info please.

An Attractive candle holder supported by three "jewel" encrusted spiders, ht. 2 1/8. Great condition.

Famous, large and very heavy brass and tile hand wrought footed box showing HENS by Salvador Teran, Mexico, c.1952. Design shows 5 hens heads on top set in black tiles all around the box. The hinged inside is brass as is the bottom. The inside has a black patina which shows it has interacted with another material(see photo) but doesn't affect the integrity of the piece and could be removed. Box measures 8 1/4" long by 6" wide by 2" high...
