This softly toned Iris quilt is Mountain Mist pattern R that was copyrighted in 1930. This example is in excellent, unwashed condition. There is a very light smudge near the bottom which one can find only with close examination. The choice of pastel colors works beautifully together. It's interesting that the light blue flowers are of the same shade while all of the others are done with two colors. Quilting is done with diagonal lines. Measurements are 76" x 88'...

Two hooked rug horses are bridled up and ready to go. The rose pink background nicely sets off the black and white horses. The rug is made of heavy cotton. It is in very good condition with the exception of a small hole near the top middle that is visible in thumbnail photos when seen from the back. The last two thumbnails show the back of the rug.
