Pair of office lounge chairs from Liceu de Artes e Oficios (School of Arts and Crafts) Sao Paulo, Brazil. The school which opened in 1873, has produced many famous artisans, designers and architects as well as well known large monuments and buildings.
These chairs are made of Brazilian rosewood and black leather.

A carved horn cocktail pick set in the form of a flying bird that looks rather like an albatross. The bird has inset glass eyes. The natural coloring of the horn is used to good effect in the bird’s wing and tail feathers. The set is completed with a holder containing ten cocktail picks with horn finials. Cocktail pick holders (“porte-piques”) were once a fixture on the bar of every café in France and were sometimes used in the home as well. Horn sets were popular in the 1950s...
A mid century Chinese buffet finished in a striking patinated bronze over wood. A solid stone top was designed with a bull nose edge on all sides. The finish has a checkerboard style of look. Set of 3 Brutalist cast bronze candles in the shape of drip beeswax column candles. Even though you can stick a candle on them, they look terrific grouped together as an art form which is what I believe the artist intended.
