A rare example of a mid-century rocker recliner in the Woodard Sculptura line. So rare that Woodard staffers came by my booth at High Point to see what they had never seen before. The rocker is made with the metal mesh typical of the Sculptura line and features an extendable foot rest and rocking mechanism. Original white paint. 41" high by 29" wide by 36" deep. In near mint condition.

This is a Beautiful Gold Imari Jardineer. I am dating this and other size jardineers that we just purchased as MID-20TH Century. This is a very nice small petite planter measuring 4" in height. The top opening is 4" and the base measures 3" in diameter. Excellent Condition. No damage or Restoration. There has not been a hole drilled in the bottom as you will often see for drainage.

This large hand carved marble stone hitching post is measured 55" tall, 9" wide and 9" long. We have two of the same hitching posts in stock; they came in a pair but can be sold separately. Each weighs approx. 280 lbs. This traditional northern Chinese hitching post was used to tie horses for wealthy families. Hand Painted medicine Buddha in stone composite. Beautifully painted face and rope, it's in red and gold tones. Medicine Buddha is Buddha Gautama, who often called himself the healer of suffering inthe world, and Dharma was the medicine. Japanese people favored Medicine Buddha over other types of Buddha and often built shrine to worship this healer. Excellent piece for garden or home. Perfect for outdoor setting or indoor decor. A rarely found set of four Carre style garden armchairs with sunburst seats and flared backs and matching oval garden table. The table has the flared straps visually echoing the backs of the armchairs: it requires a new glass top. The chairs are approximately 33.5" high by 26.5" wide by 25" deep. The table is 30" high by 60" wide by 33.5" deep. No breaks or cracks in straps/ good condition.

Unlike older sets these have ample room for sitting in. Bench is 55" wide, 32" high, 18" deep: seat height is 17". Chairs are 26" wide, 35" high, 20" deep: seat height is 18".

This sitting Guan Yin, an Avalokitesvara in Lalita Asana is carefully carved with intricate details. The Lalita Asana is a pose of ease-one leg pendant and is resting on a lotus pedal. The other leg is in the usual position of Buddha. It is said that Taras, the consort of Dhyani Buddha are found in this position. Guan Yin, an Avaloktesvara, is said to be the Chinese version of Tara, is seen in this position in this stone sculpture. The backdrop is a carving of a pine tree, symbol of longevity...
