Japanese sosaku hanga woodblock print by Hideo Hagiwara (1913-2007) titled "Nude." Pencil-signed and numbered 799/1000 in the bottom margin. Likely dates circa 1950s. Paper size: 9 1/2" x 6 7/8" (image: 7 3/8" x 5 1/2"). Excellent condition. Hideo Hagiwara studied woodblock printing under Hiratsuka Un'ichi in the 1930s. In the 1950s, he initially produced figural prints before moving to abstractions, for which he is perhaps best known.

A large intricately carved and pierced Chinese soapstone censer. This censer features 3 large foo dogs: two foo dogs at the top of the body with a foo dog removable finial or lid. Three small foo dogs frolic under the 2 larger dogs. The base is a very dark brown, hand carved and not removable. In excellent condition, the censer, as pictured in photo 1, measures 11 inches x 11" x 2.25".
