Taiten shibori man's kimono. The warps for shortening are woven as the cloth is woven. The cloth makes gathering as the warps are shortened and dyed. This shibori was called Taiten Shibori and was very popular in early Showa period (1925s to 1930s), however once declined but much used as common shibori after 1945.
