Baby's boro kimono made of hand-spun cotton and dyed with vegetable color such as ai (indigo), akane (madder)or beni (safflower). It has thin cotton lining. The shibori is from Akita prefecture in Tohoku. Washed but still has stains and a few holes. Late 19th to mid 20th century. 55cm x 42cm

This is a large antique Japanese blue and white Imari bowl with swimming carp (Koi). It measures 5.13" tall, 18.75" wide, 18.75" deep. The design incorporates Celadon water flowers that adds a soft subtle feel to the image. The inside rim features a Takokarakusa (Octopus Arabesque) pattern and the bottom rim shows stylized waves of water.
It comes with its original wooden presentation box that is dated First Month of Meiji 25 (January, 1892) with the artist signed "Saburo Shimaichi."
This is an antique wooden Tsuitate, a room divider with a removable stand that was hand painted on each side featuring a Kabuki actor on one side and Mount Fuji on the other side. Each was painted and signed by a different artist. It measures that 49" tall, 44.5" wide, 12" deep.

This is a vintage Japanese bronze garden lantern. It has acquired a beautiful patina over its many years of loving display and use. There are three sections comprised of the legs, the base and the combined roof/housing. It measures 32" tall, 22.75" wide, 22.75" deep.
It would make a wonderful addition to any indoor or outdoor garden landscape.
This is an old stone Japanese Yukimi-Doro/Toro or legged lantern comprised of 5 separate sections. Relatively low in height, they were used exclusively in landscaped gardens with the traditional placement being near the water such as a pond or stream. It measures 24" tall, 19.5" wide, 19.5" deep.
Its age is from the late Taisho to early Showa era (1920's). The skilled craftsmanship to produce this lantern is evident in the detailed texture surface that was entirely hand carved.
Chinese antique turned wooden brush pot in Huanghuali wood. The pot tapers towards the triple beaded turned base, fashioned to look like a stand and has a slightly rolled top with a recessed base. No mark. Good patination of the wood.
Approximately 22 cm high by 17-1/5 cm diameter at widest point.
Good condition with normal signs of use.
Note: I have lightened some of the pictures up quite a bit so that the details of the grain of the wood can be seen.

Maru-obi (one side is folded and the other side has seam) which is used for a formal occasion such as a wedding, made of silk brocade. It has beautiful crane motif. In excellent condition. The first half of the 20th century.
Japanese bronze suiban, or a dish to be filled with viewing stones called suiseki, as well as small plant arrangements. The rim has flower petal incision motifs while the sides are decorated by medallions and a pair of handles shaped like elephant heads. Artist's signature on bottom.
