Introduction; Chinese Fujian Shoushan stone is one of four Chinese traditional stamp stones. There are more than one hundred variety of Shoushan stones. Besides stamps, Shoushan stone is crafted for carving figures, animal, flower and bird, landscape, stationery, tool, and other art objects.

A pair of Chinese porcelain sancai glazed models of Pheonix with each perched upon a flowering tree trunk. These Chinese porcelain figures of birds are typical of the examples made for export to the West during the latter part of the 19th century or into the 20th century, influenced by Ming pieces with sancai or three color glazes.

This Chinese ivory carving of a mountain scene is a mid 20th century product. It is 5 1/8” high (with carved wood base is 6 ¼” high), 2” wide and 1 ½” thick. It depicts a village scene on a mountain. It starts from a boat in a river. Going up the trail, people are riding a buffalo or horse, sitting in a sedan chair or just walking. There are houses, booths, a pagoda and pine trees along the trail. It is in very good condition.

Chinese Ming Dynasty lacquered bronze amphora type vase with Dragon Headed handles, of small scale this wonderful little vase was finely cast down to the detail of the dragon faces on the handles, a geometric pattern above the foot.
