Japanese framed print signed by artist known as Ay-O 靉嘔(1931-present). His full name is Takao Iijim, a prominent member of the Fluxus artist movement since its beginning.

Fluxus is described "the most radical and experimental art movement of the sixties".

Ay-O represented Japan at the Venice Biennale in 1966 and at the São Paulo Biennale in 1971. He also built the famed "Tactile Rainbow" at the Osaka World's Fair in 1970...

Chinese antique double gourd Chinese famille rose porcelain vase with a design of prunus flowers on vines on one side and writing on the opposite side in black with multiple seals in red. On the base is a Jurentang mark in iron red.

Japanese Earthenware Studio Vase, with dripping oily glaze, maybe Seto ware, 9 3/4" high, 4 1/2" diameter-top rim, 4 1/4" diameter-bottom rim, oily drippy glaze applied just over half way down, rest of glaze is chestnut brown color. Lots of glare in the photographs. The condition is good, no damages.

Unique Chinese yixing teapot with rondels of marbled clay surrounding the teapot and on the cover. The spout and the handle are modelled in a bamboo design with a pig finial on the lid. There is a four character impressed mark on the base, as well as a different four character impressed mark on the underside of the lid.

Age: Purchased as an antique teapot. Actual age is not known

A pair of Chinese porcelain sancai glazed models of Pheonix with each perched upon a flowering tree trunk. These Chinese porcelain figures of birds are typical of the examples made for export to the West during the latter part of the 19th century or into the 20th century, influenced by Ming pieces with sancai or three color glazes.

A Chinese mille fleur porcelain baluster vase with a flared mouth over a tall neck with flattened stylized animal head handles on either side. The vase is decorated with a dense design of flower heads on a golden background. The base with a six character mark of Qianlong in red together with other illegible characters on a turquoise ground. The inside is glazed in turquoise...

Decorated in "blood and milk" palette with gilding at the center with furniture and precious things, the border with four reserves of similar objects on a gilt and decorated diaper. The base holds a double circle in underglaze blue.

Size: approximately 9" diameter by 1-1/4" high

Condition: These plates are thinly potted. There are some rim frits, as well as some frits/minor chips to the base rim...

Chinese thinly potted famille-rose enamelled vase on a lime green graviata ground with five figures in different poses surrounding. The top rim is edged in gilt. The inside and the base are glazed in turquoise blue. The base has a four character mark in iron red surrounded by a single iron red square border.

Size is 10-1/8" high by 7-7/8" diameter

Condition: The gilt edging at the top rim is worn in places and there are some frits. The enamels show some minor wear.
