Small bronze incensor of the Japanese god Daikoku "magic money mallet", or Uchide no kozuchi. He is associated with wealth and prosperity and is commonly portrayed seated upon bales of rice surrounded by mice, which symbolize plentiful food. The mouse seated upon the mallet is actually a removable lid. Taisho period (1912-1925) Size: 4.5" tall, 6.5" long

Porcelain statue of the Laughing Buddha/Budai, whose name means "cloth sack" and is depicted holding the cloth sack he is believed to have lived in. He wears pink and light yellow robes with flower patterns, has a lotus flower creeping down his left breast, is holding prayer beads, and has five happy children climbing on him. 20th century Size: 9" tall, 8" wide

Korean mask for use in dance performances widely known as talchum or Yangju Pyolsandae Nori. Though these dances vary by region, they all share common themes such as exorcism, ritualistic dance, satire, and parodies of wealthy upperclassmen and would often be performed on the day of Buddha's birth and other seasonal festivals...

A finely crafted pumpkin shaped Zisha clay Yixing stoneware teapot decorated on one side with applied pumpkin vine decoration. This item carries three seal marks which all bear the name Shi Yu Zhen. Condition: excellent - no chips or cracks and no restoration. Chinese monochrome gourd-shaped vase, made of glazed raspberry porcelain. The vase could be considered an item of good fortune, as gourds symbolize luck and fertility in Chinese culture. Qianlong mark on bottom, 20th century. Size: 8.5" tall, 4" wide

Southeast Asian brass bowl with copper and silver overlay, most likely used in a ritualistic manner. It has round, copper accents going around the top and bottom of the bowl, as well as geometric shape allover design. The image of a silver, multi-armed figure holding a serpent also appears going around the bowl, possibly some kind of deity, some have been defaced. Early 20th century Size: 2.5" tall, 4" wide

Chinese bowl or dish in a famille rose style, with a light blue base and interior rim, yellow ground with flecks of red and green in a floral pattern, and a large design of a butterfly with blue, pink, purple, and green colors. This is a wonderful Kanbishi chawan of Living National Treasure Potter Arakawa Toyozo with its original signed wooden box.

It is in mint condition with no cracks and no repairs.

Toyozo Arakawa (1894 - 1985) rediscovered the techniques of manufacturing Shino glazes first perfected during the Momoyama and Edo periods...

This is a very colorful Japanese Plique-a-Jour cloisonne vase. The colors used are a little different than most and contrast beautifully.(See images) Condition is very good. But when held up to bright light a line can be seen. It does not show in normal lighting. The vase is even a little different size. It stands 3 5/8 inches tall.
