Hand knotted kashkaie rug made of wool. It has a beautiful design of bands with large medallions interspersed with bands of small rectalinear medallions (c1950) It measures 6'2" by 8'7".
Vintage kazak rug, circa 1980. The rug is beautifully hand- knotted with reds and accented with blues and creams. The border has a geometrical floral band with red flowers, blue diamond shapes on cream ground. The center has a red ground with blue and cream colored designs. last quarter 20th century. It measures 73" by 54".
Kushan Islamic turquoise blue glazed oil lamp with elongated spout, pad base, tall neck and flared rim. The lamp measures 5 ins. in length. The turquoise glaze has a black design detail and a wonderful iridescent surface. The top of the rim chipped, superb color and glaze, and overall a very fine example old restoration and reconstruction as is usual with pottery of this kind. Provenance purchased in Iran in 1968 please see image showing copy of original purchase invoice.

Traditional Yemeni necklace with an amulet box, made of silver and coral. First half 20th century. The amulet box has a maker’s mark on the top. The box is 5 cm. wide. The necklace is 48 cm long. From a Dutch private collection. Overall in good condition with expected age wear on the box.

A heavy hammered copper box with domed top, fitted wood interior and applied (overlaid and inlaid) silver decoration. We understand that the Arabic inscription is descriptive of the box's function (for holding cigarettes).

An unusual set of three Persian silver salts or salt cellars cast in the form of a long tailed bird with punched and incised decoration. The heads screwed to the body of the bird. Some variation in the design of the three. One of the group stamped with three marks in Farsi, probably indicating the names of the Silversmith, City and fineness of the Silver, 840...
Carved Wood Quran Stand, Koran Stand, late 1800- 1920, 18" high when closed flat, 10 3/4" wide and 14 1/2" wide, 7 1/4" deep when fully open, all in one piece, there are lot of small detailed carvings are worn and stained.
Vintage East Indian altar shrine, made from brass with copper nails. The step base leads into the shrine with embossed tree panels behind four pillars. The top of the structure has two peacock shaped finials. Openwork repeating patterns and floral motifs are shown throughout.
