The size of Taiko: 9/16” Dia x 13/16” Long. This is nicely made with Makie lacquer with the design of Kaminari (thunder) on each side. The center of Taiko(drum) has gold finish design over red. Inside of drum has something to make the sound. It has nice old silk strap. It is dating from right after the war. 70 years old. The condition of Taiko excellent. The size of Ojime: 1 5/16” Long x 3/4” High x 5/8” Wide. Please note size is largest measurement, since form of coral Ojime is irregular form. It is very nice form. Ojime has signed by Okazaki. Signed area on top flat area where last photo showing. The condition of Ojime, excellent except noting there is one tiny micro chipped spot at the top edge. Dating the ojime from arond the war, 1940-1950's.
