A Charming and rare pair of vintage Sterling Silver stylized Bird Earrings by the famous Taxco jewelry artist Hector Aguilar. They measure 1 1/3" wide by 3/4" tall and weigh 10.1 grams total. The screw backs are in good working order and the silver has developed an aged patina that highlights the bird's detail. Hallmarked with the HA mono in the center of "Made in Mexico Sterling". A very special pair of earrings with a great look.

Designed by Spratling c. 1950's, this martini pitcher & stirrer were hand wrought in Taxco, Mexico. The pitcher stands 5 1/2" tall & weighs 400 grams. The stirrer/spoon is 10" long. Both are in excellent condition. Both the spoon and pitcher are signed on the reverse. The pitcher is pictured on p. 258 of MEXICAN SILVER by Penny Morrill & Carole Berk. This huge pendant is the work of Celia Harms and likely dates 1960's-70's. Celia Harms pieces are rarely seen, and no two are identical. Measuring 6" tall, this pendant is composed of lapis lazuli and branch coral with sterling silver 22k vermeil beads. Weight is 58.9 grams. Signed and hallmarked inside the bale "Celia Harms Sterling Mexico". In excellent vintage condition. The vermeil is perfect and even.

Circa 1941-1950, this extremely rare Antonio Pineda pin is a book-piece shown on p. 89 of Silver Seduction: The Art of Mexican Modernist Antonio Pineda.

Measuring 3 1/8" tall, this pin has stunning detail and is exquisitely crafted. The center fuchsia flower dangles freely. As such, the pin can be worn at various angles to create different looks.

This pre-1948 necklace from Doris Silver measures 17 1/2" long. I have not seen this design before, and it is really beautiful. Looks amazing on, and very flattering. The three flowers each measure 1 5/8" x 2 3/16" and have a turquoise cabochon at the center. Signed and hallmarked Doris Silver Corpus Artisans Mexico. Weight is 51.6 grams. In excellent vintage condition.

A vintage pair of sterling silver screw back earrings by Margot de Taxco, (Margot Van Voorhies Carr), number 5376, with blue confetti enamel. Opposites so frame the face when worn.

Measure 7/8" high and 3/4" across. Marked Made in Mexico Sterling, Margot de Taxco and 5376. Also marked with Eagle #16.

Screw backs hold securely. Very nice condition with some tarnish. Hard to find design.

Dating to the late 1930's, from his first design period, this William Spratling ring features a large amethyst cabochon flanked on each side by five silver beads.

The amethyst stone measures 19mm in diameter. The ring is a size 7.

Piedra y Plata opened in 1950 and soon gained a reputation as one of the best silver shops in Taxco.

This bracelet features flawlessly inlaid chrysocolla stones in heavy gauge sterling silver with a striking modernist design.

This elegant silver box was handcrafted in Mexico City during the 1940's. It measures 8"L X 3 1/2W " X 1" high & weighs 1 lb. 5 Oz. The subtle scallop design is worked into thick silver on all sides. These unique Earrings by Antonio Pineda are a great example of the imaginative designs he is know for. The earring resemble an Arrow open at the center which slip between the front and back of your earlobe so when worn it appears that the top of the arrow is piercing your ear and exiting at the bottom. The "Silver By Toño" hallmark was used from 1948-1953. For the discerning collector of Mexican silver - this bracelet is nothing short of spectacular.

This bracelet alternates five huge amethyst cabochons between repoussé silver shields tipped with silver balls. Closure is a pin on a chain. This design, in a necklace, is shown on p. 96 of Silver Seduction. The amethysts measure 15/16" in diameter.

Closed wearable length is just over 6 1/2". Width is 1 7/16".
