These 12 porcelain dinner plates were produced in England by Spode Copelands China in the 1890s. They were produced especially for the high end retailer T. Good & Co. of London. Stippled Band was the first toy dish pattern produced by Akro Agate. The transparent topaz color pictured here was only made in 1935-6 and is very difficult to find. This is the Large size Stippled Band set and includes 4 cups & saucers, 4 plates, teapot & lid, creamer, and sugar & lid. The sugar lid is the rare dome - shaped style. A Royal Vienna style porcelain coffee cup and saucer, with raised gilding on a lavender glaze and featuring a hand-painted scene of a goddess and cherub. Late 19th or early 20th century. Under glaze blue beehive mark. Size: 4.75 in. diameter x 2.25 in. ht.
