Edwardian sterling silver porringer. Made by McChesney in Newark, ca 1910. Round with straight sides, flat rim, and curved bottom; Tapering handle; center open and inset with curvilinear ornament. Sides exterior have engraved and acid-etched Mother Goose scenes including Old King Cole, Simple Simon, and Little Tom Tucker, cherished characters in olden days pre-industrial fashion, with the men wearing breeches, their woolen-stockinged calves dangling out of the rectangular frames. Edwardian sterling silver picture frame. Made by Shreve & Co. in San Francisco, ca 1910. Oval window in same surround; on front engraved ivy leaf garland with spiky tips and reeded stems. Sides plain. Two delightful ball supports. With glass, silk lining, and burgundy velvet back and hinged-easel support. For portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked including maker’s stamp. Very good condition.

Edwardian sterling silver covered urn. Made by William Comyns in London in 1908. Bowl has straight sides and curved bottom with leaf-capped and wrapped s-scroll side handles and stepped inset foot. Bid and bold chased leaf-and-dart border. Cover raised with bud finial surrounded by turned-down leaves with same border. Striking with plenty of room for engraving. Gilt-washed interior. Fully marked. Excellent condition.

Edwardian sterling silver bowl. Made by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd in London in 1905. Bellied with flat shoulder and gadrooned rim. Three leaf and scroll-mounted talon supports. Well circular and solid (vacant). Solid leafy ornament in open and leaf-inset diaper ground with scrollwork. Fully marked. Excellent condition.

Velvet wear and discoloration.
