Late 1800s

Shallow form with brilliant turquoise color. The cavetto is molded with thirty-two chrysanthemum petal-form flutes that appear convex on the back-side of the dish and encircle the flattened base. A “China” mark is needle-incised on the base. Very good condition. Acquired 25 years ago in North Carolina from an estate that was involved with the tobacco trade in China. It is rare for a large, delicate flat-rimmed dish, such as this one, to survive without damage.

EXTREMELY RARE: Large and very substantial(weighs 20 troy oz.) sterling OPEN serving bowl hand made by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1931. Beautifully hand hammered, this piece measures 11" by 7" by 2 1/2" high. It has a rounded bottom and sides with beautiful handles. The sides are rounded inward and will not accept a top. An exceptional sterling silver hand wrought cigar lighter from Shreve & Co. San Francisco. Heavy globe in organic silver base. Measures about 4 1/2" tall, 2 7/8" across and weighs about 415 grams. This unusual massive cuff bracelet has a large spinach green and yellow striated raised agate. Very three dimensional.
