Beautiful Art Nouveau sterling silver and Favrile glass jam pot, ca 1910. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Cylindrical with straight sides. Glass greenish-gold with patches of blue and red. Pontil mark. Silver collar with flat hinged cover that opens by lowering the arched swing handle. Fine and functional. Glass signed “L. C. Tiffany Favrile”. Silver hallmark includes pattern no. 15111 and director’s letter m. Very good condition with nice shimmer.

Ovoid crystal bowl with cut and engraved ornament: Beaded horse shoe in curvilinear strapwork frame, and stylized thistles. Sterling silver helmet mouth in shaped mount with raised grain heads and entwined tendrils; high-looping reeded handle. Flattened ball stopper with same and short clear glass plug. Three chased leafing-scroll frames of which 2 vacant and 1 engraved with interlaced script monogram. Shoulder has flower heads on stippled ground. Cover top has central triangle on leaves. Olympian sterling silver centerpiece bowl. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Curved and tapering bowl on domed foot. At top a dense repousse frieze of love-making, harp-stumming nymphs, gods, and cherubs. Foot rim has rinceaux border. A beautiful piece in the celebrated Beaux-Arts pattern that was conceived by French designer F. Antoine Heller and debuted at the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1878.
