Upward tapering support and stepped foot with fretwork brackets. Cover raised with pierced scrollwork borders bud finial with leaf brackets on solid central mount with scrolls and fan. Silver gilt and heightened with blue, green, and red enamel. Marked “Silver”. Very good condition.

Stylish and jokey sterling silver cabbage head sauce bowl and ladle. Made by Buccellati in Italy. Domed cover set in bowl, both comprising overlapping leaves with realistic veins and irregularities. Ladle has branch handle and leaf bowl. Clear glass liner. Ladle marked “Buccellati Italy Sterling”. Bowl has post-1967 mark (26 MI) with “Buccellati / Italy / Sterling” and “925 [in oval]”. Edwardian stoneware match strike with sterling silver collar. Made by Royal Doulton in Lambeth in 1909. Globular with cylindrical interior and silver collar. Applied ornaments include windmill, pipe-smoking peasant, and running dogs. Shaded brown and cream glaze. A homely piece in the Dutch style. Fully marked on underside and collar. Ca 1940 A heavy, solid sterling choker and bracelet by Jensen USA designer, Laurence Foss( 1920-2014). It features hand applied, raised sterling leaves with beading. The choker weighs 63 grams, is approximately 16" in length and just shy of 1/2" in width. Both the bracelet and choker are marked with the LF logo, sterling, 450. The bracelet weighs 29 grams and is 7"x 1/2".

American Art Nouveau inkwell with engraved silver overlay, ca 1886. Bellied and faceted; short neck in silver collar and hinged and faceted silver cover.
