Fancy American Victorian sterling silver basket, ca 1890. Retailed by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Oval well and wide flared mouth; spread and reeded foot. Rim interior has cast scrolls, shells, and leaves with pendant flowers in open scroll rondels as well as chased flowers and leaves. Open curvilinear swing handle with leaves and flowers as well as central scrolled oval frame (vacant). Fully marked including retailer’s stamp and no. 4727/94. Very good condition.

Set of 3 Modern sterling silver open salts. Made by Georg Jensen in Copenhagen. Each: Curved and shallow bowl with tapering and high-looping split-mounted handle with bead terminals. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. 110. Two have postwar maker’s stamp (1945-77) and one has maker’s stamp “Georg Jensen / Silversmiths Ltd” and letter E in lozenge. Very good condition. Two cast bird figures with voluminous plumage and flamboyant crowns perch on bowl rim, ready to cluck and flap and flutter. Stylized and raised ornament on rim, including leaf-and-dart and dentil. Fully marked with pre-1875 pattern no. 3739 and directors’ letter M (1873-91). Very good condition with deep patina.
