Beautiful Martele silver bowl. Made by Gorham in Providence on Mar. 26, 1914. Round well with shaped base and wavy and scrolled rim. Chased and restrained floral ornament in form of strewn roses. First-rate craftsmanship and fine honeycomb hand hammering. Hallmark includes pattern no. EFX and phrase “Martele / .9584”. Very good condition with rich patina.
