Collar silver as is hinged and cork-lined cover with floral repousse. On cover is engraved block monogram and dates “1870 W. G. C. 1895”. Fully marked including no. S1744 and date symbol. Very good condition.

Elegant Edwardian sterling silver and crystal vase. Made by Durgin (later part of Gorham) in Concord, NH. Sterling silver base comprising pierced cylinder on urn mount terminating in upward tapering shaft on raised foot with reeded rim. Crystal vessel with wavy petal rim and bellied bowl terminating in cone encased in tapering cylinder. Pretty acid-etched flowers with cut stems and petals. Silver marks include maker's stamp, Chicago retailer’s stamp CD Peacock, and no. 55. Very good condition...

American Classical sterling silver compote. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1876. Bellied bowl with leaf-mounted c-scroll side handles and knopped stem flowing into round and raised foot. Low-relief ornament on stippled ground. Bowl has wraparound frieze with garlands, leafing volute scrolls, and leaf-ornamented columns between tête à tête gryphons. On foot rim is a garland held up by dancing putti. Bowl interior gilt.

Fully marked including maker's stamp, location "Union Square N.Y.", no. ...

Turn-of-the-century cut-glass perfume bottle with sterling silver stopper. Globular with short and faceted neck and shoulder, and everted rim. Star, fern, and diaper ornament. Globular stopper with dense repousse-style flowers and ferns on stippled ground. Marked “Sterling” with stamp for James R. Armiger Co., a Baltimore maker that began working under that name in 1896. Very good condition with deep patina.
