Turn-of-the-century American Art Nouveau sterling silver bonbon scoop. Large and round bowl with open scrollwork bordered by pierced striation with serrated rim. Scrolled handle with dense and entwined tendrils, and traditional shell terminal. Shaped cartouche (vacant). Fully marked including no. 506 and stamp for Meriden Britannia, a maker that was part of International. Very good condition.

Art Nouveau sterling silver compote. Made by Meriden Britannia (part of International) in Meriden, Conn., ca. 1900. Circular well, curved sides, and scrolled and everted rim. Interior sides have asymmetrical frames. Repousse and chased flowers, foliage, and scrolls on rim. Rests on conical foot. Tactile and sinuous. Monogrammed. Hallmark includes model no. C4148. Excellent condition.
