Chased ornament with chubby, bare bottomed cherubs with adroitly arranged drapery surrounded by garlands and and Classical architecture. Gilt-washed interior. Marks include Hanau maker’s stamp (Storck & Sinsheimer). Very good condition.

Scrolled and wavy rim in form of flowering rose vine with both tight buds and full blooms. Stationary u-handle applied with graduated flower heads and split scroll mounts. On top parcel gilt with engine-turned ornament with wavy lines between honeycomb; sizes have diaper in trapezoidal frames. Cedar-lined interior; open leather-lined bottom. Fully marked. Very good condition with some gilding loss.
